We did a few smaller projects during the first
year but our main one was at the end, we could pick out own brief, so I chose
to look it to creating a piece of furniture that would bring the home together.
Through research and
development I chose to create a kitchen table, it was to be interactive, to
stop household being on there private items of technology and encourage
communication. I designed a fairly modern piece that would be simply enough to
fit into a variety of households.
For this project I had to
give an 8 minute presentation and explain how it could work.
